Nehez, William, 1919-2009

Biography"William S. Nehez (1919-2009) was born into an east side family that was once honored as the Largest Hungarian Family in Ohio. He was married to Ann (nee Cibar) and had one child, Denise. Nehez worked for the Cleveland News as a photographer, later serving with the Army five years, four of which were as a combat photographer, covering D-Day for the United State Army Signal Corps and other events in the European theater with the Army Engineers Pictorial Service.
