Lockman, Whitey, 1926-2009

Whitey Lockman played for the New York Giants (1945, 1947-1956, 1957), St. Louis Cardinals (1956), San Francisco Giants (1958), Baltimore Orioles (1959), and the Cincinnati Reds (1959-1960). After his playing career, Lockman coached for the Reds, Giants, Chicago Cubs, managed the Cubs (1972-1974), scouted for the Cubs, worked in the Cubs front office, and worked in the front office and scouted for the Montreal Expos and the Florida Marlins.
