Lopat, Ed, 1918-1992

Ed Lopat pitched for the Chicago White Sox (1944-1947), New York Yankees (1948-1955), and the Baltimore Orioles (1955). After his playing career, Lopat managed in the minor leagues, managed the Kansas City Athletics (1963-1964), served as a coach for the Yankees, Minnesota Twins, and the Athletics, and served as the Athletics general manager.
