Mathewson, Jane, 1880-1967

Jane Mathewson, nee Stoughton, was born in Lewisburg, PA on January 9, 1880 to Frank and Julia Ann Stoughton. Mathewson had two brothers, Frank and Thomas. She met future Baseball Hall of Famer, Christy Mathewson, while he was at Bucknell University and she was at the Bucknell Institute for Women; they were married in 1903.
