BiographyConnie Ryan played for the New York Giants (1942), Boston Braves (1943-1944, 1946-1950), Cincinnati of the National League (1950-1951, 1954, known as Reds 1890-1952, then Redlegs 1953-1958), Philadelphia Phillies (1952-1953), and the Chicago White Sox (1953). After his playing career, Ryan coached for the Milwaukee Braves, Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers, managed the Braves (1975), and managed the Rangers (1977).
