Biography"Albert R. Thayer (19 October 1878 - October 1965) was an American painter and etcher. Born in Concord, Massachusetts, he studied at the Boston Museum School and at the Art Students League in New York City. His teachers include Edmund Tarbell, Eric Page and Aldro Hibbard. He was a gifted teacher as well as oil painter and was a long-standing member of the Rockport Art Association, which he served as Treasurer."--Wikipedia
