Norfolk Tars (Baseball team)
The Norfolk Tars were a minor league team based on Norfolk, Virginia. They were members of the Virginia League from 1906-1918, 1921-1938; Eastern League from 1931-1932; Piedmont League 1934-1955. They were affiliated with the New York Yankees from 1934-1955. Home games were played at Myers Field from 1940-1955.
