Biography"Robert Cobb, owner of the Hollywood and Beverly Hills Brown Derby Restaurants... He had owned the Hollywood Stars of the Pacific Coast League before major league baseball came west in the form of the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1958. Mr. Cobb and two associates in the movie colony opened the original Brown Derby on Wilshire Boulevard, built in the shape of a hat in 1926.
