BiographyHarry Markey Grayson was an American sportswriter. He was born May 10, 1894 and died September 30, 1968. From 1934-1963 he was the sports editor of the Newspaper Enterprise Association. In 1943, Grayson published a series profiling the great figures in baseball history. This series was titled "They Played The Game".
