Castilla, Vinny, 1967-

Vinny Castilla was a third baseman and shortstop in the Major Leagues from 1991-2006. Castilla managed the Mexican national team in the 2007 Pan-American Games, managed Mexico in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. In 2012, he was a special assistant coach on the Rockies' major league coaching staff until the end of the 2015 season. He then became a special assistant to GM Jeff Bridich.
