DescriptionNavy blue cap, size 7 1/8, with a red bill and a red button at the top crown. There is a white embroidered "A" logo on the front. Top of the bill has "Rafael Furcal / Unassisted Triple Play / 8/10/03" handwritten in black ink. There is an MLB logo patch at the rear center. Underside of the bill is gray with "1" handwritten in black ink in the center near the sweatband. Interior white cloth sweatband has several labels, including "Authentic Collection," "New Era" and a sizing tag.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Atlanta Braves shortstop Rafael Furcal on August 10, 2003 when he recorded an unassisted triple play, the 12th in major league history, witnessed by 39,320 fans in St. Louis.
