DescriptionCircular celluloid pinback button with "National Association Professional Baseball Leagues" in white lettering on a navy blue background around the perimeter edge and a white circular portion in the center imitation a baseball with red stitching. "582" is in red lettering at the top of this white baseball with "Rice Hotel / Houston, Texas / Nov. 28-Dec. 3" in navy blue lettering at the bottom. There is a rectangular window on the "sweet spot" of the baseball design where a slip of paper can be inserted in the back to display a person's name. "H.G. Roettger / Pittsburg BB Club" has been typed in black lettering on this piece of paper and is visible through this window. Back side of the button has a pin at the top. Connected to the back side bottom portion of the button is a vertical red, white and blue striped ribbon with "1954 Convention" in vertical lettering down the center white stripe. "Lndfield Adv. & Ptg. Co,, Houston 3, Texas" is printed in black lettering on the back side upper edge of the ribbon.
