Baseball Motif ring

DescriptionGold-colored metal ring with an adjustable band and a raised depiction of a baseball on the face. One shank has a fielder's glove with two crossed baseball bats while the opposite shank has a catcher's mitt with two crossed baseball bats.
Bio/Historical NoteThis ring was a prize for young children who clipped the coupons on boxes of Quaker Puffed Wheat or Rice cereals. Other prizes offered included a bracelet, baseball, watch fob score indicator, sweater emblem or a baseball book.
