Score Counter ring

DescriptionGold-colored metal ring with an adjustable band and a large circular device on the face with a depiction of a baseball player, "Andy Pafko" facsimile signature above and three small dials, corresponding to matching "Balls," "Outs," and "Strikes." There is inscribed stitching on this device to imitate a baseball. The upper portion of each shank has a depiction of a catcher's mitt and two crossed baseball bats.
Bio/Historical NoteThis combination ring and score counting device was a prize for 15 cents and two box tops from Quaker Muffets. Andy Pafko was a spokesperson for this keepsake and the ring features his facsimile signature.
