DescriptionA black-and-white, head and shoulder, digital image of Lefty Willis captured standing in front of the dugout looking straight ahead with a tight lipped smile. Willis is dressed in the Philadelphia Athletics uniform but it is indistinguishable whether it is a home or road uniform due to the Philadelphia Athletics jacket he is wearing on top of his jersey. Based on Willis' uniform and his time with the Philadelphia Athletics this digital image was taken between 1925 and 1927.
