DescriptionA black-and-white, head and shoulder, photograph of Nellie Fox. Fox is looking straight ahead, has a small smile and his infamous bulge in his left cheek from his chewing tobacco. Fox is dressed in the Chicago White Sox road uniform. A caption on the back of the photograph (not shown) states, "Chicago White Sox Player...Fox... Position...IF..." Based on his uniform and his time with the White Sox, this photograph was taken between 1951 and 1963.
