The diamond is surrounded by a circle of laurels and text reading "New York Yankees World Champions." Both sides have the Yankees logo on top of a baseball, "1961" and leaves on them.
Bio/Historical NoteThe New York Yankees defeated the Cincinnati Reds four games to one to win the 1961 World Series.
