DescriptionSalesman's sample of the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series championship ring. The face of the ring features a relief image of Forbes Field with a circular clear stone set in center of field. Surrounding relief reads "Pittsburgh World Champions." One side of the ring has a "P" with a sunburst background and plain banners above and below, where name would be engraved. The other side of the ring has the Pirates logo with banners above ("Pirates") and below ("1960"). Sunburst design in the background.
Bio/Historical NoteThe Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the New York Yankees four games to three to win the 1960 World Series.
