DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Charlie Gehringer captured posing in his batting stance. Gehringer is looking straight ahead with a serious expression on his face. The baseball bat is over Gehringer's right shoulder as his left foot is twisting in the dirt. Gehringer is dressed in the Detroit Tigers home uniform. Tiger Stadium is visible in the background. Seven unidentified gentlemen are visible in the stadium seating in the background. Based on Gehringer's uniform and his time with the Detroit Tigers this photograph was taken between 1934 and 1936.
