London Baseball Association admission ticket

DescriptionA ticket to enter the grounds of the London Baseball Association for any match in the 1895 season. The back of the ticket contains the following information in red ink: "Matches ever Thursday & Saturday - Streatham Hill Trams from Blackfriars, Waterloo and Westminster Bridges to Telford Avenue. - L. B. & S. C. Railway: Streatham Hill and Belham Station's from London Bridge or Victoria - This ticket available for any Match from May 4th, 1895; to end of Season." There is also text stamped in purple ink that reads: "Grand Game - Play Called for 2.45 P.M. - Dewars v. Thespians."
