The scorecard is from the first game of a double header between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Grooms on May 30, 1891 played at Eastern Park in Brooklyn, New York. The game was won by Pittsburgh by a score of 7 to 1. The scorecard is printed in black ink and is filled out with pencil. The scorecard includes advertisements for Baldwin Clothier and Adam's Tutti Frutti. The front cover has a black and white baseball design with laurel leaves and in red ink it reads "price 5 ct. Brooklyn Base Ball Club Eastern Park." The back cover has an advertisement for A.G. Spalding & Bros.
