The scorecard is from game 5 of the World Series between the New York Giants and Brooklyn Bridegrooms on October 24, 1889 at Washington Park in Brooklyn, New York. The game was won by New York by a score of 11 to 3. The scorecard is printed black ink and is filled out in pencil. The scorecard has advertisements for The Hannis Distilling Co. and Old Judge Cigarettes. The front cover is red with gold and reads "Official Score Book price, five cents" and "Brooklyn vs. New York / Championship of the World / 1889 / Washington Park." The back cover is Red and gold and is an advertisement for Adam's Tutti Frutti.
