DescriptionIndianapolis baseball club Official Scorecard, 1883. The scorecard is from the Louisville Eclipse vs. Indianapolis game of September 18, 1883. Indianapolis won the game by a score of 7 to 2. The scorecard was printed with black ink, and filled out with pencil. The scorecard opens vertically. All around the scorecard are advertisements for local businesses; Chapin & Gore, "The Office," Harry A. Walker fine wines, liquors and cigars, R.R. Ticket Office, C. Schrader, & Bro., Charles Mayer & Co., St. Charles Hotel, and unidentified hat company.
