Letter from Harry Wright to William Grant

DescriptionA letter dated July 22, 1875 from Harry Wright to William Grant, President of the Star Baseball Club in Covington, Ky., regarding the scheduling of upcoming games. Wright writes that he expects his team, the Boston Red Stockings, to be in Cincinnati from August 13-16 to play one or more games. He mentions that profits should be no less than $200 and invites Grant to bring his team up to play. The letter is handwritten on Boston Base Ball Association Headquarters letterhead.
