DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller sitting on a couch, cleaning his guns. His gaze is directed downward at the gun he is currently working on. An image caption on the reverse (not shown) reads, "In the Off-Season. Gates Mills, O[hio]: Cleveland pitcher Bob Feller, who is taking a complete rest in the off-season, looks over his firearms in his Gates Mills home. Rapid Robert says he won't begin any form of heavy training until early February, and he's taking it easy until then. He may plan a short hunting trip, however." The photograph is dated on the reverse (also not shown) as November 29, 1948, however it is unclear whether this is the date the photograph was taken or when it was published.
