The image caption on the reverse (not shown) reads, "Sho nuff, boys! Satch will sign. Satchel Paige, great Negro pitcher who hurled 5 innings for Kansas City Monarchs at Stadium last night as they beat Ebers 6-1, took time before game to give autograph to Arthur (left) and Andy Carafas, 132 Winton Rd. Paige struck out 9 batters."
