Bio/Historical NoteBaseball hit by Joe Azcue of the Washington Senators to shortstop Ron Hansen on July 30, 1968 against the Cleveland Indians to start an unassisted triple play. This was the first unassisted triple play in the Major Leagues in 61 years and it was the eight in Major League History at that time. The Cleveland Indians went on to defeat the Senators, 10-1.
