DescriptionBlack wool cap, size 7 3/8, with a "P" logo embroidered in yellow on the front and a yellow button at the top crown. Underside of the bill is green with "Dock Ellis" autographed in black ink. Interior proper right front panel has "17" handwritten in black ink. Interior white cotton sweatband has a manufacturer label at the rear center.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Pittsburgh pitcher Dock Ellis on June 12, 1970, when he no-hit the San Diego Padres, walking eight batters, hitting one, striking out six and winning 2-0.
