DescriptionA black-and-white photograph, from left to right of, Connie Mack, Will Harridge and Clark Griffith (Clark Calvin). Mack is captured in profile while seated looking at Griffith and has his left hand placed on Griffith's shoulder. Harridge who is standing, is looking down towards Mack and has his hands placed on the back of Mack's and Griffith's chairs. Griffith is looking towards the photographer with a slight smile. All three gentlemen are dressed in suits. A newspaper clipping is affixed to the front of the photograph and states, "TWO OLD-TIMERS--AND A 'COMER'--Connie Mack (left), president-manager of the Philadelphia Athletics, talks with Clark Griffith (right), president of the Washington Senators, a fellow veteran, here yesterday as the Major League Baseball meetings open. Will Harridge, American League President, listens in." Based on the newspaper clipping, this photograph was taken on December 01, 1942.
