Paul Molitor Batting photograph
Date1993 or 1994
DescriptionA full-length color action photograph of Paul Molitor batting. Molitor, shown in profile, wears a Toronto Blue Jays home uniform, helmet, and batting gloves. Having just made contact with the ball, about to run to first, Molitor supports his weight on his left leg while his bent right leg is lifted slightly off the ground. Placing right hand over left on the grip of the bat, Molitor holds the bat chest height in front of his body, perpendicular to the ground. Molitor looks forward and up to a point in the distance and to the left of the camera. Captured in-game, an occupied stadium is visible in the background. Based on the career of Molitor, this image was taken in 1993, his first year with the team, or 1994, the year this image was accessioned by the Hall of Fame.
