DescriptionRoyal blue uniform cap, size 7 1/8, with an orange embroidered "NY" logo on the front. Underside of the bill is green with "16" handwritten in black marker in the center near the sweatband. Interior leather sweatband has an MLB logo tag, a "New Era" label and a faded sizing tag.

Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Dwight Gooden of the New York Mets during the 1984 All-Star Game at Candlestick Park in San Francisco on July 10, 1984. At age 19, Gooden became the youngest player ever to be named to the All-Star team. The game resulted in a 3-1 victory for the National League.
