DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth with a child. The Brooklyn Daily Eagle from March 29, 1948, identifies the young boy as "Mile Schaefer" and states that he is receiving an autograph on a coconut from Ruth. Ruth has a cigar in his hand and has his other arm around Schaefer. They are both wearing coats and Claire Ruth is visible on the right.
