DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Bob Feller captured handing a large slice of cake to a young boy , John Sheehan, to celebrate the 19th anniversary of his no-hitter against the New York Yankees. Feller is looking at the young boy with a large smile as he hands him the cake and fork. The young boy has an excited expression. A newspaper clipping affixed to the back of the photograph (not shown) reads, "Nineteen years ago yesterday Cleveland's Bob Feller pitched a no-hitter against the Yankees in the Stadium. Yesterday, Feller, current host at the Schaefer Pavilion at the World's Fair, celebrated the occasion with a cake. John Sheehan, 7, of Woodstock, N.Y., was on hand and is helped to a piece of cake." Based on the newspaper clipping this photograph was taken on April 30, 1965.
