Bio/Historical NoteSpikes worn by Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdéz in Game 2 of the 2022 World Series. A first-time All-Star in 2022, Valdez won both of his World Series starts, including Game 2 (1 run in 6.1 innings) and the clinching Game 6 (1 run in 6.0 innings). The spikes are customized in Astros colors and feature the team logo, Framber’s uniform number, the Dominican flag, names of family members and inspirational text in Spanish.
