DescriptionNatural stain wooden bat, 31 ounces, with "Worth / Model 500T / Tennessee Thumper" and "Hand Crafted / Andre Dawson / Model" in black lettering near the end of the barrel. "10" is handwritten in black ink on the knob end with "A D 5 WC118" inscribed. There is a silver sticker on the handle, "Swing B-9 Weight," next to the double black ring on the handle where it meets the taper.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Andre Dawson of the Montreal Expos on September 24, 1985 at Wrigley Field when he hit two 3-run home runs in the 5th inning of a 17-15 victory over the Chicago Cubs. Dawson joined Willie McCovey as the only players to hit two home runs in one inning twice.
