Pictured from left to right, George Henry Lovell, Babe Ruth, Claire Hodgson, Mrs. Lovell and the Reverend William F. Hughes. The are also two altar boys visible in the background. According to an inscription on the reverse (not shown), the one wearing a tie is named Dan. To the left there is a group of unidentified children. The wedding ceremony took place at St. Gregory Church in New York City.
