DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Roberto Clemente batting that was taken from the knees up. Clemente is wearing a Pittsburgh Pirates uniform and batting helmet. The photograph was taken from the left side of home plate. Clemente is looking out towards the pitcher's mound, presumably waiting for the pitch. A crowd can be seen in the background. Based on Clemente's years with the Pirates and the uniform type, the photograph was most likely taken between 1962 and 1970.
