DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of an unidentified Grand Rapids Chicks player with a bloody lip being checked out by chaperone Dottie Hunter in the dugout. The player is sitting on the bench with her head tilted back while the chaperone holds a cloth to her face. An unidentified player is sitting next to her looking on. Both players are holding their gloves and several baseball bats can be seen in the foreground. The photograph was probably taken between 1945 and 1954, the years Dottie Hunter was chaperone for the Grand Rapids Chicks.
