DescriptionNavy blue cap with a white embroidered "NY" logo on the front. Underside of the bill is green with "35" handwritten in the center near the sweatband. Interior sweatband is white with a "New Era" manufacturer label in the rear.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by pitcher Phil Niekro of the New York Yankees when he won his 300th career game on October 6, 1985, 8-0 against the Toronto Blue Jays at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto. At the age of 46 years, six months and five days, became the oldest pitcher to win his 300th Major League game.
