DescriptionA color full length photograph of Matt Stairs batting at Yankee Stadium between 1996 and 1998. Stairs is in the left handed batter's box and wearing an Oakland Athletics road uniform. He has just finished his swing and his body is twisted in a way that his back (left) foot is pointing towards home plate, his front (right) leg is facing the pitcher's mound and his upper body is facing first base. With both hands he is holding a baseball bat at head level that is pointed towards the dugout. In the background are four unidentified New York Yankees and a full crowd in the stands. The photograph is taken from the third base side of the field.
