DescriptionA color full length photograph of Jeff Kent batting in 1997. Kent is in the right handed batter's box and wearing a San Francisco Giants road uniform. He is leaning towards first base but his body is twisted in a way that his upper body and arms are facing the camera and his lower body is facing the pitcher's mound. He is looking over his right shoulder at where he has just hit the baseball. With both hands he is holding on to a baseball bat with the bat head pointed to his left. Behind Kent is catcher Charles Johnson wearing a Florida Marlins home uniform and catcher's equipment. Johnson is starting to stand up from a squatting position and looking at the flight of the baseball. The photograph is taken from the third base side of the field.
