Letter from Clark Griffith to James Brannigan

DescriptionA letter dated August 26, 1947 from Clark Griffith to James Brannigan offering to help Brannigan join the Washington Baseball Club system through its minor-league affiliates. Griffith offers to place Brannigan on the class D club for the spring of 1948. The letter is typed on Washington American League Baseball Club letterhead and includes a postmarked envelope addressed to Brannigan.
