DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth on the bases. It appears that he is caught in a run down between first and second base. Ruth is looking back towards second base as he is running back to first. The second baseman, for what looks like the New York Giants, is running towards him. The first baseman, pitcher, shortstop, umpire, and Yankees first base coach are also in frame. Ruth is dressed in a Yankees road uniform. Based on his time with the Yankees and uniform, this photograph was taken between 1920 and 1934.
