DescriptionA black-and-white photograph of Babe Ruth batting. It appears that he just hit the ball and is looking behind him. The catcher is seen looking upwards and reaching to pull his mask off, as if to catch a foul ball. An umpire is partially visible on the left and a crowd is seen in the background. Ruth is wearing a Yankees road uniform. Based on his time with the Yankees, this photograph was taken between 1920 and 1934.
