Letter from Branch Rickey to Johnnie Mokan

DescriptionA letter dated July 18, 1942 from Branch Rickey to Johnnie Mokan, thanking him for recommending a "young infielder" from the Buffalo area. Rickey writes that he will send Mokan's letter to Oliver French, the President of the Rochester Club. The letter is typed on St. Louis National Baseball Club letterhead and signed by Rickey.
