DescriptionNavy blue cap, size 7, with a white "D" logo embroidered on the front. There is an embroidered MLB logo at the rear center. Underside of the bill is green with "Sparky Anderson / 11" handwritten in black ink. Interior white sweatband has three manufacturer labels sewn into the rear, including "Authentic Diamond Collection," "New Era" and sizing information.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Detroit Tigers manager Sparky Anderson on April 15, 1993 when he won his 2,000th game. The Tigers beat the Oakland Athletics 3-2 at Tiger Stadium.
