DescriptionBlack cap with a white and silver embroidered logo on the front. Top half of the logo is a ship's wheel with five spokes while the bottom half is a depiction of a baseball. Underside of the bill is green with "17 / 'Lynchmoe' / GATA" handwritten in black ink. Interior white cotton sweatband has a manufacturer label on the proper left side front. There is an opening at the rear center above a plastic adjustable snap closure.
Bio/Historical NoteCap worn by Erie Sailors' starting pitcher John Lynch on June 15, 1992, the first game by one of the Florida Marlins' minor-league affiliates. The Erie Sailors were the Florida Marlins' first farm team. Lynch went on to play for the NFL and is now the general manager for the San Francisco 49ers.
