DescriptionWooden bat, 31.5 ounces, with natural stain handle and black painted barrel. Center of the barrel has a white painted manufacturer logo with "P72 / 'Pudge' Rodriguez / Texas Rangers" in white lettering near the end of the barrel. Barrel has been signed in silver ink between these, "Ivan Rodriguez / 'Pudge" #7." Knob end has " 'Pudge' Rodriguez / 7 / 34" / 31 1/2 oz / Made in Canada" in black lettering.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used and autographed by Ivan Rodriguez of the Texas Rangers to collect his then-record 43rd double in a single season as a catcher on August 22, 1996 at Minnesota. This broke a mark originally set by Hall of Famer Mickey Cochrane in 1930.
