DescriptionWooden bat, 31.5 ounces, with dark brown stained handle and knob and black painted barrel. Handle and knob edge is wrapped in white tape. There is a gold adhesive stripe around the perimeter of the barrel where the stain changes color. Center of the barrel has a gold "Sam Bat" logo, "San Francisco Giants" in gold lettering to the right with "6-7-01 / #526" handwritten in gold ink below and "Bonds 2K1 / Barry Bonds / Rideau Crusher" in gold lettering near the end of the barrel. Knob end has a white sticker with red maple leaf and "Made in Canada" in red lettering. Barrel end tip is cupped with "34 / 31.4 oz / 10 05 01 / 2K1 /B.B." handwritten in black ink.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Barry Bonds of the San Francisco Giants to record his 526th career home run on June 7, 2001. This massive 451-foot home run has also his 32nd homer for the season.
