DescriptionBlack painted wooden bat, 30 ounces, with "Louisville Slugger / 125 / Powerized" in the center of the barrel and "Genuine C271 / Ken Griffey Jr. (facsimile signature) / Seattle Mariners" near the end of the barrel. Barrel has been signed in silver ink, "Ken Griffey Jr. #24." Barrel end tip is cupped. Handle is wrapped in thin tape close to the knob.
Bio/Historical NoteBat used by Ken Griffey, Jr. of the Seattle Mariners in achieving his streak of eight home runs in eight consecutive games, from July 20-July 28, 1993, tying Dale Long and Don Mattingly for the Major League record.
